Cecil Vernon Elkins, 48, of
Silsbee, died Thursday, March 27, 2014.
He was born on February 1, 1966, in Brownwood, to Pauline Essary and Jerry Don
Elkins.
Survivors include his children,
Cecil Elkins, Jr. and his wife, Kelsey, of Burkett; Jesse Elkins and Chad
Elkins, both of Rising Star; Harley Kieschnick and her husband, Matt, of
Kountze; and Kristeena Elkins of Silsbee; seven grandchildren; mother, Pauline
Essary of Del Leon; father, Jerry Don Elkins and his wife, Viola, of Splendora;
brothers, Jerry Elkins and his wife, Donna, of Ballinger and John Calvin Elkins
of Comanche; and sister, Gina Ekins of Comanche. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann
Ekins.
His committal will be held at
Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
