Anne Edwards Heare

Anne Edwards Heare, 87, of Beaumont, died peacefully at home Monday, March 24, 2014.  She was born on February 17, 1927, in Waco, to Anna Dawson Edwards and Travis Houston Edwards, and was a longtime resident of the area.

Survivors include her husband, Charles R. Heare of Beaumont; sons, Charles E. “Chuck” Heare and his wife, Janie, of Beaumont; Travis C. Heare and his wife, Denise, of Kersey, Colorado; and Bruce R. Heare and his wife, Ginger, of San Angelo; grandchildren, Emily Heare; Ross Heare; Heather Provo and her husband, Andy; Travis Moje; Stephan Moje; Austin Heare; Jordan Heare; Travis Guerin and his wife, Katy; Demi Guerin; Kaylee Guerin; Bradley Heare and his wife, Jean; Lauren Morris and her husband, Hunter; and Daniel Heare, and great-grandson, Logan Provo.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Grace Ann Heare Moje.

A gathering of Mrs. Heare’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, March 28, 2014, at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 1350 North 23rd Street, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 29, 2014, St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.

The family would like to thank Brenda Washington for her loving care over the last year, Clara "Sunshine" James for her care over the last several weekends, and the entire staff at Atria Collier Park for their care and friendship over the last several years.
