George Lindsey Haynes, 70, of
Silsbee, died Friday, March 21, 2014. He
was born on January 4, 1944, in Silsbee, to Mollie “Viola” Lindsey Haynes and Clyde “J.C.” Haynes.
Survivors include his wife,
Darlene Haynes; children, Terri Foxworth and her husband, Scott, of Seabrook;
Tabitha Moore and her husband, Robert, of Fred; and George Lindsey Haynes, II
“Lindy” and his wife, Christy, of Warren; grandchildren, Samuel Foxworth,
Rachel Foxworth, Matthew Moore, Makaila Moore, Meaghan Moore, Gage Gresham,
Colton Haynes, Bethany Haynes, and Shelby Major; and step-children, Cheryl
Conway of Vidor and Justin Conway of Dallas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.C. “Junior” Haynes,
Jr.; J.E. “Blackie” Haynes; and W.R. “Rusty” Haynes; and sister, Kathleen Ouida
Haynes.
A gathering of Mr. Haynes’ family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 25, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. His funeral service will be 2:00
p.m.,Wednesday, March 26, 2014, at Good Samaritan Fellowship, 21544 FM 92
South, Fred, 77616, with interment to follow at Lindsey
Cemetery, Warren.
