Alice Marie Gennusa

Alice Marie Gennusa, 54, of Crystal Beach, passed away Monday, March 10, 2014, at her home. She was born on January 15, 1960, to Martha and Leon Smith, in Galveston, and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Survivors include longtime companion, Howard Porteous; sister, Brenda Smith and her companion, Charles Ardoin, of Winnie; brothers, Morgan Smith and his wife, Roxanne, of Winnie; Clyde Reed and his wife, Lydia, of Port Bolivar; and Michael Ling of Kountze; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Alice is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Frank Gennusa, Jr.; and brother, George Reed.

A gathering of Mrs. Gennusa’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2014, at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 14, 2014, at Broussard’s. Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
