Saundra
Lee Dyer, 64, of Port Neches, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014, at The Medical
Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur.
She was born on March 21, 1949, in Middletown, Ohio to Julia Justus Readnower
and Floyd Jennings Readnower. Saunda was
a Licensed Vocational Nurse and was employed with Park Place Hospital and later with Odyssey Hospice.
Survivors
include her daughter, Heather Nelson and her husband, Wayne, of Port Neches;
son, Stephen; grandchildren, Aleea Nelson of Nederland, Brandon Nelson of Port
Neches, and Sydney and Connor of Arizona; and great-grandson Landon Prince.
A
memorial service for Mrs. Dyer will be at 6:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 11, 2014,
at Church on the Rock, 6200 39th Street, Groves, under the direction
of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland. Her committal was held at Broussard’s
Crematorium, Beaumont.
