Grace
Simon, 87, of Beaumont died Tuesday, March 4, 2014, at Cedar Bayou
Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, Baytown. She was born on September 18,
1926 in Beaumont to Angelina Napoli Leone and Dominick Leone, and had been a
resident of the area most of her life. Grace was a member of St. Pius X
Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
Survivors
include her sons, Mike Simon and his wife, Sherryl, of Houston and Ralph Simon
and his wife, Kathleen, of Crosby; brothers, Jasper T. Leone of Beaumont and
Vincent D. Leone of Spring; and grandchildren, Ashlyn, Shannon, Steven, and
Stephanie Simon.
She
is preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Simon; parents; and sister, Mary
Leone.
A
Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Simon will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m.,
Friday, March 7, 2014, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 5075 Bigner Road, Beaumont, with interment
to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of
Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont.
