Marie
L. Arredondo, 62, of Houston, was born on August 3, 1951, in Beaumont, to Mary
Briones Arredondo and Eugenio Zapata Arredondo. She is preceded in death by her
father, Eugenio Z. Arredondo; her brother, Eugene Arredondo, Jr.; and her
sisters, Rosa Arredondo and Eugenia A. Soto.
Survivors
include her mother, Mary B. Arredondo of Beaumont; daughter, Christina Lopez of
Houston; son, Tom Lopez of Austin; brothers, Eddie Arredondo, Ernest Arredondo,
Alfred R. Arredondo, Joe Arredondo, and Louis Arredondo, all of Beaumont;
sisters, Carmen Leddy and husband, Martin, of Houston; Tina Henslee and husband,
Jimmy; Christine Guerrero; and Gloria Vazquez, all of Beaumont; grandchildren,
Lauren Ashley Lopez, Christina Lopez, Zachary Lopez, Zoe Lopez, Robert Lopez,
Ray Anthony, and Gabriella Lopez; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A
memorial service for Lydia Arredondo will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 7, 2014,
at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A committal will be held for
the family on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Cemetery. Thank
