Mildred
Wargo, 88, of Beaumont died Wednesday, February 26, 2014, at Baptist
Hospital of Southeast Texas. A native of Yonkers, New York, Mildred
moved to Houston with her family in 1953, and has resided in Beaumont since
2005.
Survivors include
her husband, Albert; son, Pastor Warren Wargo and his wife, Deborah, all of
Beaumont; grandchildren, Joshua Wargo and his wife, Sarah, of Fort Worth;
Abigail Cunningham and her husband, Eric, of Austin; and Esther Jean and her
husband, Joshua, of Louisville, Kentucky; two siblings, Michael Kachmar, Jr.
and his wife, Helen; and Olga Jakubek and her husband, Eddie, all of Yonkers,
New York; and one great-granddaughter, Emmalyn Cunningham.
A gathering
of her family and friends will be from 4:30 p.m. to
7:00 p.m., Friday, February 28, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000
McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral will be 11:00 a.m.,
Saturday, March 1, 2014, at Broussard’s.
In lieu of
flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mildred’s memory to Lamar
Baptist Church, 1003 Oregon, Beaumont, Texas 77705.
