Connely Renee Burns, 20, and her
baby boy, Tyson Aaron Burns, of Lumberton,
died Monday, February 3, 2014. She was
born on October 15, 1993, in Lumberton,
to Dawn Guidry Sterling and Michael Sterling.
Connely was a 2012 graduate of Lumberton
High School and worked as a cashier at
Hobby Lobby in Beaumont.
Survivors include her husband,
Timothy Burns; parents, Dawn and Michael Sterling; grandfather, Jimmie Sterling
and his wife, Marilyn, of Toledo Bend; grandmother, Marjorie Satterthwaite and
her husband, Terry, of Bevel Oaks; grandfather, Harold Guidry of Beaumont;
grandmother, Betty Guidry of Sour Lake; and numerous aunts, uncles, and
cousins. She is preceded in death by her
grandmother, Charlotte Guidry.
A gathering of Connely’s and
Tyson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday,
February 19, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490
Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Their funeral service will be 2:00 p.m.,
Thursday, February 20, 2014, at Crestwood Baptist Church, 1150 Highway 69
(three miles north of Lumberton High School), with interment at Pine Ridge
Cemetery, near Sour Lake, at a later date.
