Wanda
Evers, 71, of Village Mills, died Wednesday, February 5, 2014. She was born on October 6, 1942, in San Marcos, to Edna
Phidelia Winfield Means and E.B. Means.
Wanda was a retired realtor.
Survivors
include her husband, Robert Evers; children, Nita Jeanes and her husband,
Keith, of Saratoga; Rachelle Evers of Magnolia; Lena Neugebauer and her
husband, Rusty, of Montgomery; and Robert Evers, Jr. and his wife, Mellissa of
Stonewall, Louisiana; eight grandchildren; four great-granchildren; and
sisters, Glenda Fenton of Longview, Patti Graham of Saratoga, Rita Alford, and
Anita Olson, both of Wildwood.
She
is preceded in death by her parents; and daughter, Christi Lyn Evers.
A
gathering of Mrs. Evers’ family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Friday, February 7, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m.,
Saturday, February 8, 2014, at First Baptist Church of Warren, 11645 Highway
69, Warren, with interment to follow at Holland Cemetery,
Kountze.
