Marie
Morrison Harlan, 94, of Beaumont, died Friday, January 31, 2014, at Calder
Woods. A native of Utica, Mississippi, she was born to Izzie Mae Hammond
Morrison and Daniel Thomas Morrison, on February 6, 1919.
Survivors
include her son, Jack Harlan of Houston; sister, Polly Frazier of Jackson,
Mississippi; and numerous loving nieces and nephews.
She is
preceded in death by her husband of sixty-three years, John Harold Harlan; son,
John Hardy Harlan; her parents; four brothers and three sisters.
Special

A gathering
of Mrs. Harlan’s family and friends will be from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday,
February 4, 2014, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral
service will be at 11:00 a.m., at Broussard’s, with private family committal to
follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
