Betty Jean Barrow
February 28, 1931 - January 20, 2014
Betty Jean Barrow, 82, of High Island, died Monday, January 20, 2014. Mrs.
Barrow was born on February 28, 1931, in Beaumont, to Sue A. Andres and Turney
W. Kemp. Betty, and had been a resident of the High Island area since 1946.
Mrs. Barrow is survived by her husband, Benny Lee Barrow of High
Island; sons, Johnny Barrow of Winnie and Dan Barrow and his wife, Johnelie, of
Laura Hill, South Carolina; daughters, Andrea Phelps of Winnie; Debra
Thibodeaux and her husband, Larry, of Beaumont; and Molly Gaspard and her
husband, Steven, of Willis; twelve grandchildren; and twenty-seven
great-grandchildren.
A committal for Mrs. Barrow will be at Broussard’s Crematorium,
Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive, Winnie.
Mrs. Barrow’s family will have a memorial service at a later date.
