Paul
“Kenneth” Miller, 61, of Nederland, died Monday, January 20, 2014. He was born
September 10, 1952, in Beaumont to Sable and Sydney Miller and had been a
lifelong resident of the area. Kenneth was a veteran of the United States Air
Force. He was employed with Exxon/Mobil, where worked for many years, before
his retirement. Kenneth enjoyed fishing, gardening, crawfish boils and anything
outdoors. He also liked his coffee, Sunday morning Cajun music, the New Orleans
Saints and picking on people that had a good sense of humor. Most of all,
Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family.
He
is survived by his son, Cody Miller and his wife, Carissa, of Nederland;
step-daughter, Nikki Duhon of Vidor; step-sons, Scott C. Cunningham and his
wife, Amaris and Steven Tate and his wife, Sherylen, all of Nederland; sisters,
Cindy Miller, Cheryl Kendrick and her husband, John, and Sandra Witt and her
husband, Red; brothers, Glenn Miller and Sydney Miller, Jr.
Kenneth
is preceded in death by his father; brothers, Thomas and David Miller; and
daughter, Stephanie Miller.
A
gathering of Mr. Millers family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00
p.m., Thursday, January 23, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Friday,
January 24, 2014, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue,
Nederland, with cremation to follow at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
