Mary Ann Clampitt
June 10, 1946 - January 14, 2014
Mary
Ann Clampitt, 67, of Nederland, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014, at The Medical
Center of Southeast Texas, Port Arthur. She was born June 10, 1946, to Easter
and Burl E. Jones, Sr., and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Mary devoted
her life to doing what she loved most, which was taking care of her family.
She
is survived by her daughter, Carrie Smith and her husband, Richard;
granddaughter, Michaela Smith, all of Baytown; brother, Burl “Butch” E. Jones,
Jr. of Houston; sisters-in-law, Diane Moss and her husband, Jeff, of Belle,
West Virginia and Sally Harris and her husband, Steve, of Nederland;
brothers-in-law, Wayne Clampitt of Dripping Springs and Charlie Clampitt and
his wife, Kim, of Tomball; niece, Jennifer Beebe and her husband, Gene; and
nephews, Fielding Moss and Shawn Clampitt.
Mary
is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert “Robby” Moody
Clampitt, Jr.
A
gathering of Mrs. Clampitt’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Friday, January 17, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18,
2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port
Neches.
