Emerson "Jay" Jay Bean

Jay Bean, 64, of Silsbee, died
Sunday, January 12, 2014. He was born on
August 26, 1949, in Lamesa,
Texas, to Elizabeth Horton Bean
and James E. Bean. Jay served his
country in the United States Army during the Korea conflict.
Survivors include his wife,
Darlene; children, Ricky Bean and his wife, Michelle, of Groves; Micheall Burt
and her husband, Jason, of Buna; and Jamie Bean and Jena McGuff and her
husband, John, all of Angleton; six grandchildren; and brother, Charles Bean
and his wife, Deidra, of Lumberton. He
is preceded in death by his parents.
A gathering of family and friends
will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 15, 2014, at
Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road,
Silsbee. His funeral service will be
2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow
at Antioch Cemetery, Buna.
