December 27, 1925 - January 8, 2014

Franklin O. Pace, 88, of Sour Lake, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at LenRose Place, Beaumont. He was born on December 27, 1925, to Eula Lee and Benjamin Pace, in Holland, Texas. Mr. Pace served in World War II as a Fireman 1st Class in the United States Navy aboard the USS John D. Henley in the Pacific Theater.

 

Survivors include his wife, Jeanette Pace; daughter, Janine Pace; son, Jon Hugh Pace; sister and brother-in-law, Donnell and Bobby Tant; nieces, Pattie Wilson and Sheri Ortez; and his extended family includes great-nephews, great-nieces, step-son, step-daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

 

He was dearly loved.

 

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 700 North Street, Suite M, Beaumont, Texas 77701.
