Ivan Wayne Theus

Ivan Wayne Theus, 77, of Silsbee, died Sunday, January 5, 2014.  He was born on March 24, 1936, in Port Arthur, to Callie Gore Theus and Raybon Theus.  Ivan was a minister, farmer, and retired construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie Theus; children, Michael Theus of Baytown; Joey Theus of Livingston; Milton Ollinger of Tennessee; Kimberly Summers and her husband, Jim, of San Antonio; Angie Theus of Arlington Heights, Illinois; Shelly Nugent of Silsbee; Bridgette Ralph and her husband, Brian, of Littleton Colorado; and Nicole McKinzy and her husband, Gene, of Liberty; grandchildren, Christina Theus, Michael Timothy Theus, Stephen Joe Theus, Brandi Michele Theus, Lucas Guerrero, Joseph Guerrero, Ashton Creasy, Ashley Theus Jordan, Derek Persky, Alexandra Callie Satterwhite, Walter Nugent, Liam Ralph, Finn Ralph, Calum Ralph, Amberly Blakeney, Austen Blakeney, and Zachary Blakeney; great-grandchildren, Jacey Theus, Andre` Guerrero, Brooklyn Guerrero, Landon Creasy, Ethen Jordan, Colt Jordan, Ava Satterwhite; brothers, Joseph Marshall Reeves and Howard Luther Reeves; and close family friend, Walter “Bud” Nugent.  He is preceded in death by his parents; twin brothers, Jack and Herbert Theus; and grandson, Andre` Guerrero.

A gathering of Mr. Theus’ family and friends will be 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee.  His funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Broussard’s with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery, Fred.
