Yvonne
Anderson, 67, of Port Neches, died Sunday, January 5, 2014, at M.D. Anderson
Cancer Center, Houston. She was born November 12, 1946, to Pauline and Melvin
Porter in Orange, and had been a lifelong resident of the area. Yvonne was a very
outgoing, caring and loving person. She enjoyed spending time with her family,
friends and also her Graham’s Girls.
Yvonne
is survived by her mother, Pauline Porter; daughter, Brandi Anderson of
Atascosita; son, Chad Anderson and his wife, Hope, of Nederland; grandchild,
Gracie Anderson; sister, Patricia Myer and her husband, Mark; and numerous
nieces, nephews and friends.
She
is preceded in death by her father, Melvin Porter; husband, Bennie Max
Anderson; and sister-in-law, Billie Robinson.
A
gathering of Mrs. Anderson’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 9,
2014, at Broussard’s, with a graveside interment to follow at 3:00 p.m., in
Weldon, Texas, at Weldon Community Cemetery.
