Steven Brent
Duncan, 52, of Groves, died Thursday, January 2, 2014, at Magnolia Manor
Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Groves. He was born on December 22, 1961, to
Peggy Nell Holden Duncan and James Donald Duncan, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, and had
been a resident of this area since 1967.
Survivors
include his father, James Donald Duncan of Nederland; brothers, Gary Duncan and
his wife, Pat, of Beaumont and John Duncan and his wife, Pam, of Kailua,
Hawaii; niece and nephews, Chris Duncan of Beaumont, Jeff Duncan of Fort Worth,
and Rachel Duncan, Scott Duncan, Josh Duncan, and Mike Duncan, all of Kailua,
Hawaii.
He is preceded
in death by his mother, Peggy Duncan; stepmother, Jean Hatchel Duncan; and
brother, Robert Bruce Duncan.
A gathering of
Mr. Duncan’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Monday,
January 6, 2014, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 7, 2014, at
Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County,
Nederland.
