Katie Marie Robbins

Katie Marie Robbins, 37, of Silsbee, died Friday, December 27, 2013.  She was born on January 12, 1976, in Tyler, to Sherry Daniel Robbins and Larry Robbins. Katie grew up in Gladewater and later moved to Silsbee where she graduated from Silsbee High School.  She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Claire and a wonderful friend to all.

Survivors include her daughter, Claire Calnon; parents, Sherry and Larry Robbins; brother, Lee Robbins; grandparents, Marie Means and Dorothy Robbins, all of Silsbee; aunt and uncle, Debra and Frank Estrada of Spicewood; uncle and aunt, Ace and Monica Daniel of Lakeway; cousins, Lee Fuller, Marti Moats, and Candace Anderson; and devoted friends, Mack Wells, Keisha Kirchoff, and Claire’s father, Daniel Calnon.  She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Lucille and Howard Daniel and Jerrell Robbins.

A gathering of Katie’s family and friends will be at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013, and again on Monday, December 30, 2013, from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m., with her graveside service to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Park, Silsbee.
