Vickie Ann Fort Broussard

Vickie Ann Fort Broussard, 58, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 26, 2013, at Christus Hospital, St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. She was born November 7, 1955, to Pat and Jimmie Fort in Pineland, and had been a resident of the area since 1957. Vickie was employed with the Jefferson County District Attorney's Office, having retired after thirty-two years of employment.

She is survived by her daughter, Marcie Broussard of Labelle; father, Jimmie Fort of Nederland; sisters, Kaye Rodriguez and husband, Roland, of Georgia and Dianne Fort of Chicago, Illinois; nieces and nephews, Teah Doyle, Tara  James and Dustin Mitchell.

Vickie is preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Ann “Pat” Fort.

A gathering of Ms. Broussard’s family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m., Saturday, December 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 29, 2013, at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 3324 Park Drive, Nederland, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
