Andrew
Raymond “Ray” Davidson, 69, of Groves, died Monday, December 9, 2013. He was
born December 8, 1944 in Michigan. Andrew was a veteran of the
United States Navy. He was a member of the Gold Wing Riders Association and
also a fishing guide at Toledo Bend. Andrew enjoyed woodworking in his spare
time and taking his grandchildren fishing.
He
is survived by his wife of sixteen years, Joyce Davidson; daughter, Catherine
Buffington and her husband, Gordon, of Leesville, Louisiana; sons, Michael
David White and his wife, Jodie, of Groves, Jason Salter and his wife, Denise,
of Groves and Collin Davidson of Texas; eight grandchildren; one
great-grandson; brother, Dave Davidson and his wife, Madeline, of Michigan; and
a host of other relatives and friends.
A
gathering of Mr. Davidson’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until
8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 12, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland.
A
private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
