Janet Mae
Guidry, 76, of Winnie, died Saturday, December 7, 2013, at Winnie Community
Hospital. She was born on April 22,
1937, in Gilbert, Louisiana, to Mary Reeves Smith and George Smith.
She is survived
by her son, Eddie Guidry and his wife, Melissa, of Freer; daughters, Rene Crum
and her husband, David, of Nederland and Sue Lewis and her husband, Gordon, of
Joshua; sisters, Jean Harris and her husband, Buck, of Apalachicola, Florida
and Georgie Feemster and her husband, Ray, of Winnie; grandchildren, Gordon
Lewis; Clayton Lewis; Josh Crum; Ben Crum and his wife, Crystal; Rachel Crum;
Keeley LaSure and her husband, T.J.; Zach Guidry; and Ashlinn Guidry; and
great-grandchildren, Brylee Crum and T.K. LaSure.
Mrs. Guidry
is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dudley Guidry; and sister, Bobbie
Guidry.
A gathering
of Mrs. Guidry’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.,
Tuesday, December 10, 2013, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Road, Winnie. Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m.,
Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at
Fairview Cemetery.
