Lee Miller, Sr., 83, of Beaumont, died Friday, December 6, 2013. He was born on
May 19, 1930 to Constance Thibodeaux Miller and Sidney Dominic Miller, in
Beaumont.
Survivors include his children, Mary Lee Reaux and
her husband, Jimmy, of Kingwood; Catherine Shoemaker and her husband, James, of
Beaumont; Cecelia Ann Rothrock and her husband, Walter, of Roman Forest; Hubert
Joseph Miller and his wife, Sandy, of Lake Havasu, Arizona; Dominic Joseph
Miller and his partner, Alan McLaughlin, of Austin; and Larry Miller, Jr. of
Beaumont; nine grandchildren, Connie Gille Reaux; Melissa Ann Dismukes and her
husband, Trey; Bradley O. West and his partner, Beaumont Cone; Brian M. West;
Ahren M. Rothrock and his wife, Amanda; Mandy LeeAnn Rothrock and her fiancé,
Trevor Rans; Charles Laurence Miller; Kayla Miller; and Anthony Joseph Miller; three
great-grandchildren, Victoria Frances Dismukes, Taryn Alice Dismukes, and Marshall
Vernon Miller; brothers, William Miller, Wilbert Miller, and Billy Joe Miller;
and sisters, Bessie Mae Fontenot and Ethel June Foux.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary
Alice Miller; a brother; and two sisters.
A gathering of Mr. Miller’s family and friends will
be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday,
December 9, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2013,
at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 1600 North Main Street, Vidor, with interment
to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park, Vidor.
