Robert
Bruce Duncan, 52, of Nederland, died Sunday, December 1, 2013. He was born
December 27, 1960, to Peggy Nell and James Donald Duncan in Ada, Oklahoma, and
had been a resident of Nederland since 1967.
He
is survived by his father, James Duncan of Nederland; brothers, Gary Duncan and
his wife, Pat, of Beaumont, John Duncan and his wife, Pam, of Kailua, Hawaii
and Steve Duncan of Groves; and nieces and nephews, Chris Duncan of Beaumont,
Jeff Duncan of Fort Worth and Rachael Duncan, Scott Duncan, Josh Duncan and
Mike Duncan, all of Kailua, Hawaii.
Robert
is preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Duncan; and step-mother, Jean Hatchel
Duncan.
A
gathering of Mr. Duncan’s family and friends will be from 5:00p.m. until 8:00
p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland. A graveside service with interment to follow will begin at 1:30p.m.,
Thursday, December 5, 2013, at Memory Gardens of Jefferson County, Nederland.
