Mark
Anthony Hale, 44, of Beaumont, died Monday, December 2, 2013, at Baptist
Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont, surrounded by his family. A lifelong
native and resident of Beaumont, he was born on Friday, June 13, 1969, to Helen
Marie Shelton Hale and William H. Hale. He was a 1987 Monsignor Kelly Catholic
High School graduate and was a Gulf War veteran while serving in the United
States Marine Corps. Mark was employed at Conn’s Appliances for eighteen years.
Mark
will be remembered as living life to the fullest each and every day and in his
mind and words “THE BEST DAMN CARD PLAYER IN SOUTHEAST TEXAS!”
Survivors
include his wife, Sulyn; daughters, Sarah and Emily; sisters, Sherry Maniscalco
and her husband, J.L.; Sissy Salim and her husband, Nick; Teresa McReynolds and
her husband, James; and Kim Manuel and her husband, Paul; brothers, Joe Hale
and his wife, Sharon and Billy Barton and his wife, Sandra; several nieces and
nephews; and numerous family members and friends.
He
is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Marty Hale.
A
gathering of Mark’s family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.,
with a Christian Vigil at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at
Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, December 5, 2013, at St. Anne Catholic
Church, 2715 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia
Cemetery, Beaumont.
