Russell John Guidry

Russell John Guidry, 54, of Dripping Springs, died November 20, 2013, in Quindio, Republic of Columbia. Born January 14, 1959, in Neosho, Missouri, Russell is the son of Irleen A. Stevenson Guidry and John M. Guidry. Russell was a senior project engineer with Foster-Wheeler in Houston.

He is survived by his parents, John and Irleen Guidry of Port Neches; daughter, Johnna Guidry and her mother, Gloria Guidry, both of Dripping Springs; brother, Raymond D. Guidry and his wife, Gay,  of Port Neches; sister, Rhonda Shulz and her husband, Tom, of St. Louis, Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Renee Bowen.

A gathering of Mr. Guidry’s family and friends will be on Friday, November 29, 2013, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. followed by his funeral service at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.  Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 30, 2013, at Hudson Bend Cemetery in Austin.
