John Austin Pigg, 30, of LaBelle,
died Monday, November 18, 2013. He was born November 24, 1982, to Deborah Tate
Pigg and Gary Pigg, in Beaumont, and was a longtime resident of the Fannett
area.
John was an avid outdoorsman, who
loved to hunt and fish and truly loved hog hunting. He valued his friendship
with all of his buddies and loved the Dallas Cowboys. He will be truly missed
by his family and friends.
John is survived by his parents,
Deborah and Gary Pigg of LaBelle; brother, James Northcutt of LaBelle; sisters,
Brandi Borne and her husband, Keith, of Groves and Chelsea Flitcraft and her husband,
Greg, of Nederland; aunts, Vicky Kloecker and her husband, Bobby, of Burton;
uncles, Leroy Tate and his wife, Alice, of Nederland and Tim Tate and his wife,
Cindy, of Sulphur, Louisiana; nieces, Makenzie, Madison, and Harli; and
nephews, David, Garret, Grason, Dylan, and Garyson.
A gathering of Mr. Pigg’s family
and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 22, 2013,
at Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer
Drive, Winnie. His funeral service will be 1:00
p.m., Saturday, November 23, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at
Broussard Cemetery, Fannett.
