Ina Mae Arsement

Ina Mae Arsement, 92, of Nederland, died Thursday, October 31, 2013, in Sugar Land. She was born August 5, 1921, to Alice Moss and Noah Dionne in Port Arthur, and had been a resident of Mid-County for ninety years.

Ina is survived by her daughter, Amy Tinch and her husband, Bruce, of Arlington; son, Bruce Smith of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Jodi Kieschnick, David Rocknic, Ryan Tinch, Travis Smith and Trey Smith; great-grandchildren, Madison Kieschnick, Anna Grace Kieschnick, Jake Rocknic, Hudson Tinch, Chandler Tinch, Del Rocknic and Rhett Rocknic; sister-in-law, Donna Dionne; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her children’s father, Frank Smith; and daughter, Maxine Rocknic.

A gathering of Mrs. Arsement’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 1:00 p.m., at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 211 Hardy Avenue, Nederland. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Groves.
