Deborah Renne “Debbie” Mathew,
59, of LaBelle, died Friday, October 18, 2013.
She was born on January 27, 1954, in Beaumont, to Freda Jagneaux Wright
and Wilson Joseph Wright.
Survivors include her husband,
Charles “Doug” Mathew; daughter, Cossette Callahan and her husband, Jay, of
Labelle; brothers, Thomas Lee Wright and his wife, Delta and Rayford Wright and
his wife, Marie, all of China; and grandchildren, Nathan and Noah Callahan,
Seth Breaux, and Charleigh Callahan. She
is preceded in death by her son, Charles “Lance” Mathew.
A gathering of Mrs. Mathew’s
family and friends will be from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary
recited at 7:00 p.m., Monday, October 21, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major
Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, October 22, 2013, at St. Mary
Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, Fannett, with interment to follow at Forest
Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.
