Daisy “Jane” Roebuck, 96, of Sour Lake, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on October 20, 1916, in Michigan, and had been a longtime resident of the area. Daisy worked as a machinist in World War II, technician at Texas Instruments, and a professional seamstress. She was a member of Eastern Star, and enjoyed reading and spending time with her grandchildren.

Daisy is survived by her son, Thomas P. Roebuck, Jr., and his wife, Karen, of Sour Lake; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Peter Roebuck; son, Don Roebuck; four brothers; and one sister.

A graveside for Mrs. Roebuck will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101 Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
