Daisy "Jane" Roebuck

Daisy “Jane” Roebuck, 96, of Sour
Lake, died Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Harbor Hospice, Beaumont. She was born on
October 20, 1916, in Michigan, and had been a longtime resident of the area.
Daisy worked as a machinist in World War II, technician at Texas Instruments,
and a professional seamstress. She was a member of Eastern Star, and enjoyed
reading and spending time with her grandchildren.
Daisy is survived by her son,
Thomas P. Roebuck, Jr., and his wife, Karen, of Sour Lake; eight grandchildren;
eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her
husband, Thomas Peter Roebuck; son, Don Roebuck; four brothers; and one sister.
A graveside for Mrs. Roebuck will
be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, 101
Block Street, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th
Street, Nederland.
