Wanda Ruth Fowler, 85, of
Lumberton, died Saturday, October 5, 2013.
She was born on October 6, 1927, in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Lydia
Baldwin Hamilton and Ernest Hamilton.
Survivors include her husband
of sixty-eight years, John “Jack” Fowler; daughter, Sharyn Knost and her
husband, Robert, of Mauriceville; son, Kenneth Fowler of Lumberton; grandsons,
Chris Fowler, Aaron Fowler, and Scott Smith; great-grandsons, Joshua Morton and
Jaxon Smith; and great-granddaughter, Jordyn Smith. She is preceded in death by her parents; and
granddaughter, Sandi Smith.
A gathering of Mrs. Fowler’s
family and friends will begin at 9:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 11:00
a.m., Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee,
with interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park, Silsbee.
In lieu of flowers, memorial
contributions made be made to First Baptist Church, 350 Highway 96 S, Silsbee,
Texas 77656.
