Earlice Covington

Earlice Covington, 85, of Beaumont, died Saturday, September 21, 2013. A native of Beaumont, she was born on July 5, 1928, to Myrtle Bass Page and Roger Page.

Survivors include her son, Jimmie Lee McGown, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of Lake Jackson; grandchildren, Rachel McGown of Houston, Paige Bruneau of Tacoma, Washington, and Kimberley Bello of Bedford; and two great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, John Covington, son, John Covington, Jr., and daughter, Cheryl McGown.

A gathering of Mrs. Covington’s family and friends will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her graveside service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s.
