Wilma Jean DuBose

Wilma Jean DuBose, 79, of Warren, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont.  She was born on November 21, 1933, to Leona Bennie Reid and John Henry Sheffield.       She is survived by her daughter, Vickie Bearden and her husband, Robert, of LaBelle; sons, Dusty Smith and his wife, Laurel, of Port Neches and Nathan Smith and his wife, Connie, of Warren; brothers, Robert Sheffield of Iola and Johnny Sheffield of Warren; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.    She is preceded in death by her husband, Shorty DuBose; parents; and sister, Earline Ivey.    A gathering of Ms. DuBose’s family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.  Her committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
