Josephine C. Duplantis

Josephine C. Duplantis, 91, of Port Neches, died September 7, 2013, at Cypress Glen in Port Arthur.  Born October 8, 1921, in Port Neches, Josephine was the daughter of Alta Boudreaux Champagne and Armogene Champagne.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Duplantis and his wife, Helen, of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Lisa Conrad and her husband, Tim, of West Orange and Brian Duplantis and his wife, Amy, of Port Neches; great grandchildren, Lauren Duplantis, Jacob Duplantis, and Bailey Duplantis; and several nieces and nephews.  Josephine’s husband, Lester Duplantis, preceded her in death.

A gathering of Mrs. Duplantis’ family and friends will be Monday evening, September 9, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., with a rosary recited at 6:30 p.m., at Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.  Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 10, 2013, at Broussard’s, followed by burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
