Erskine Buddy Leysath, 90 years, of Beauxart Gardens passed away, Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at his residence.
Survivors include his daughter, Margaret Leysath James and husband, Fred Wayne of Beauxart Gardens; son, Erskine James Leysath and wife, Linda of Nederland; three grandchildren;five great grandchildren; brothers, Walter Leysath and wife, Anna Mae of Port Acres, Billy Leysath and wife, Lea of Baytown; sisters, Wilsie Adams, and husband, Bill of Mansfield, LA, Sybil Berry of Shreveport, LA.
Buddy was born April 3, 1913 in Mitchell, Louisiana and had been a resident of the Mid-County area since 1934, and was retired from Texaco Refinery after 38 years of service as a Lab Technician. Buddy was also a charter member of the Bethel Methodist Church in Port Neches.
Funeral services will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2004 at Broussard’s Chapel, 505 12th. Street, Nederland with Reverend Curtis Morton officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery, Mitchell, Louisiana. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, April 2, 2004 at the Mortuary,
