Paul David Uttinger, 52, of Lumberton, died Monday, June 10, 2013, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on July 12, 1960, to Barbara Ann Grieve Uttinger and John Arnold Uttinger, in Lafayette, Louisiana.
Survivors include his daughter; Amanda Kay Uttinger of High Island; sons, Joshua Thomas Uttinger of Vanderpool, and John Matthew Uttinger of Needville; mother, Barbara Ann Uttinger of Ponchatoula, Louisiana; grandchildren; Neveah Star Uttinger, Kaylynn Michelle Uttinger, Summer Michelle Carter, Aubry Nichole Carter, and Austin Nicholas Carter; brothers, John Michael Uttinger of Conroe and Joseph Conrad Uttinger of Branson, Missouri; and sister, Laura Catherine Douglas of Hammond, Louisiana.
A gathering of Mr. Uttinger’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, June 14, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Broussard’s, with a committal to follow at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
A benefit to help the family cover medical and funeral expenses for Mr. Uttinger will be held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 9505 College Street, Beaumont.
