Lillian Margaret Jennings, 84 years, of Sabine Pass passed away, Friday, April 2, 2004 at her residence.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004 at Broussard’s Mortuary, 505 12th. Street, Nederland. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at Broussard’s Nederland Chapel with Reverend Alvin Thompson officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.
Lillian was born September 26, 1919 in Abbeville, Louisiana and had been a resident of the Southeast Texas area for most of her life. Lillian was a member of Tremont Baptist Church in Sabine Pass where she had service as a Sunday school teacher for several years.
Survivors include her husband, William D. Jennings of Sabine Pass; three daughters, Jerry S. Ahrlett and husband, Edgar of Houston, Polly Timms and husband, Daniel of Fannett, and Marilyn Alford and husband, Jesse of Florence, KY; one son, Donald R. Jennings and wife, Dixie of Sabine Pass; and ten grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren; and one sister, Lillie Cashion of Bountiful, UT.
