Angelita Ramirez, 93, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 29, 2013, at Harbor Hospice. She was born in San Diego, Texas, on November 14, 1919, to Rosa Zapata Arredondo and Prexedis Arredondo.
Survivors include her husband of sixty years, Seferino Ramirez of Beaumont; grandchildren, Juan E. Pena, Jr. of Beaumont; Angie Hartman of Columbus, Ohio; and Juana Doucet of Dallas; great-grandchildren, Michael Pena, Alex Pena, Zackary Pena, Michelle Doucet, Samantha Doucet, Jennifer Warnet, Melissa Hartman, Jonathan Hartman, and David Hartman; great-great-grandson, Jacob Warnet; and sister, Olivia Ruiz. She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Juan E. Pena, Sr.; sisters, Inez Nena Guerra and Mary D. Arredondo; and brothers, Eugenio Z. Arredondo and Robert Arredondo.
A Rosary for Mrs. Ramirez will be 6:00 p.m., with a gathering of her family and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2013, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Monday June 3, 2013, at Broussard’s, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
