Kathy J. Conner, 61, of Nederland died, Sunday December 5, 2004 at her residence in Nederland.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 7, 2004 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland with a Christian Vigil at 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at St. Charles Catholic Church with Reverend Dan Malain officiating with services concluding at the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Kristina Conner of Nederland; one son, Russell Conner of Greenville, Texas; and local relatives, Kenneth Jones, Sam and Barbara Haviland all of Groves; and dear and old friends, Amelia McRae, Cheryl Bush, and Lynn Riley. Kathy was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Conner.
Kathy moved to Groves from her hometown of Franklin, PA where she leaves many family members and friends. Kathy loved spending time with her children and friends. She had a love for books and could spend hours reading. She also loved visiting all the local restaurants and visiting or shopping with friends. Kathy was a loving mother and a loyal and loving friend to many. She will be missed by so many. May she rest in God’s loving arms. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church in Nederland.
Pallbearers will be Jarrett Hopson, Victor Ramirez, Robbie Abshire, Henry McRae, Stan Haviland, and James Gersham. Kenneth Jones will serve as honorary pallbearer.
