Thomas Lee Lowrance, 77, of Beaumont, died Sunday, April 28, 2013, at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born on February 1, 1936, in Eliasville, to Oscar and Mandy Lowrance, and had been a longtime resident of Beaumont. Tom was a United States Army veteran. He was a retired Certified Public Accountant and was the Internal Auditor for the City of Beaumont.
Tom is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Virginia Lowrance; sons, Kevin Lowrance and wife, Jennifer, of Friendswood and Kyle Lowrance and wife, Jessica, of Katy; grandchildren, Lleyton Lowrance and Brady Lowrance; sister, Earline McCormick of Eastland; brother, Sam Lowrance of Lindale; and sisters-in-law, Sammie Seamans of Colmesneil and Deborah Palumbo of Seabrook.
He is preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald, Luther, and O.V. Lowrance.
A gathering of Tom’s family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at Broussard’s, with entombment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
