Family was the center of his universe and a source of great pride. He gave each of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren the gift of unending love and support.

He is survived by his loving wife and soul mate of seventy-one years, Agnes “Jackie” Dyer; children, W. Robert Dyer, Jr. and his wife, Ann; Joseph Dyer; Marian Dyer; Karen Wilson and her husband, Paul; Colleen Dyer; and Jackie Grigar; grandchildren, W. Robert Dyer III, William Dyer, Chip Wilson, Kathleen Wilson, Stephen Grigar, Kyle Grigar, and Garrett Dyer Vaughn; great-grandchildren, W. Robert Dyer IV, Michael Dyer, and Thomas Dyer; and sisters, Evelyn Bartlett and Faye Hasse and her husband, Mark.

Woodrow is preceded in death by his mother, Myrtle Dyer; father, Lonnie Dyer; and sisters, Hazel Aldred and Floyce Bowden.

Woodrow was a gardener extraordinaire. He was a lover of animals, particularly race horses. Most of his friends knew him for his ability to weave a great story. As a self-made man, he was admired by many. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear of Mr. Dyer's passing. While I never knew him other than as a classmate of Karen's at St. Pius...my father Frank Scarborough "thought the world" of him until his death in 1973. God Bless You All...you were blessed to have had him for so long.
