Emma Lou “Big Mamma” Langham, 92, of Kountze, passed away Wednesday, December 1, 2004 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, December 4, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Broussard’s, 700 W. Saratoga Hwy, Kountze, with burial to follow at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake. A gathering of family and friend will be Friday, December 3, 2004 from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
A native of Clayton, Louisiana, she lived in the Kountze area for most of her life and was a homemaker.
“Big Mamma” is preceded in death by her husband, Earnie N. Langham and two sons, Shelton Buck Langham and Virgil Langham.
She is survived by one son, Stanley Langham and his wife Melany of Kountze; daughter, Edna Hatcher of Sour Lake; seven grandchildren, seven great grand children and three great great grand children.
