Mary Mabel Flanigan,79, of Beaumont died November 27,2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital. Mrs. Flanigan was a native of Arcadia Parish, Louisiana and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph W. Flanigan, Jr. of Beaumont; daughters, Diane Dixon of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Sharyn McLauchlan and husband Michael of Houston, and Janet Pady and her husband Tommy and Susan Philips and her husband Keith all of Lumberton; sons, Joseph P. Flanigan and his wife Vickie of Vidor and Daniel Flanigan and his wife Mary of Lumberton; sister, Jeanette Hale of Dallas; twelve grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was a wonderful devoted wife and mother, dearly loved by her family. She had a kind and generous spirit and a strong faith.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2004 at St. Pius X Catholic Church followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A rosary will be recited 7:00 p.m. Monday evening, November 29, 2004 at the Mortuary.
