Vernon Travis Collins, 73, of Silsbee, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He was born on February 9, 1940, in Saratoga, to Minnie Lee Ocie Collins and Vernon Riley Collins.

Survivors include is wife, Jimmie Collins; children, Ricky Collins of Silsbee; Julie Sealy and her husband, Donald, of Silsbee; Alena Simmons of Beaumont; Travis Collins and his wife, Erin, of Silsbee; Sam Collins and his wife, Joanie, of Lumberton; Deana Wilson of Lumberton; Trenda Eubanks and her husband, Glenn, of Fred; Sheila Cahanin of Kountze; and Lisa Gregory of Lewisville; numerous grandchildren; and brothers, Edwin Collins of Silsbee and Donald Moye of Big Sandy.

Mr. Collins’ committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
