Dorothy Jean Coffey, 83, of Hamshire, died Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at Sabine Oaks Home, Beaumont.
She was born on March 20, 1929, to Viola Hutson Corley and Albert Glenn Corley.
Dorothy is survived by her sons, Jeff Coffey and his wife, Jenny, of LaBelle and Brian Coffey and his wife, DeLaine, of Winnie; daughters, Leisa Hatton and her husband, Rick, of Bulverde and Sharon Bennett and her husband, Ross, of Fannett; daughter-in-law, Nel Coffey of Houston; sister, Barbara Turner and her husband, John, of Houston; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, George Franklin Coffey; and son Gary Coffey.
A committal for Mrs. Coffey was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s 134 West Buccaneer, Winnie. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
