James A. Holmes, Jr., 66, of Sour Lake, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth, Beaumont. He was born on February 22, 1946, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Katherine Luckett Holmes and James A. Holmes, Sr. James has owned and operated Coastal Business Forms, Beaumont, since 1991.
He is survived by his wife of forty-four years, Deborah Holmes; sons, Shannon Holmes and his wife, Melissa, of Sour Lake; and Mark Holmes and his wife, Robin, of Bridge City; and he was PawPaw to Kaden Holmes and Kale Holmes both of Sour Lake, Zoe Holmes, Luke Holmes, and Asher Holmes, all of Bridge City.
A gathering of Mr. Holmes’ family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Sunday, December 30, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 31, 2012, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 225 West Barkley, Sour Lake, with interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery, Sour Lake.
