Pauline Owens, 88, of Beaumont, died Thursday, November 22, 2012, at Magnolia Manor, Groves. She was born on October 22, 1924, in Marshall, to Bertha Yarborough Sandefur and William E. Sandefur, and had been a resident of the Beaumont area most of her life. Pauline was a retired legal secretary.
She is survived by her husband of sixty-seven years, James Owens; and son, Bill Owens and his wife, Joyce, all of Beaumont; daughter, Julie Davis and her husband Stephen, of Nederland; grandchildren, April Morreale, Bradley Owens, Sara Hillin, Travis Davis, and Katie Davis; eight great-grandchildren; and son-in-law, John Pace of Beaumont.
Pauline is preceded in death by her daughter, Lynda Pauline Pace; and sister, Alice Bennison.
A gathering of Mrs. Owens’ family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m., with her funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont at a later date.
