Sheila Darlene Heard Aldaiz, 57, of Groves, died November 18, 2012, in Port Arthur. Born October 8, 1955, in Port Arthur, she was the daughter of Vela and Edward D. Hall. Sheila was employed as a teacher with the Port Arthur Independent School District for thirty-two years.
She is survived by her son, Luke Heard and his wife, Keri, of Kountze; daughter, Summer Underhill and her husband, Heath, of Okeechobee, Florida; stepchildren, Marcos Aldaiz of Navasota, Marrisa Aldaiz of South Carolina, and Israel Aldaiz of San Antonio; grandchildren, Haley and Tyler Underhill, Madison Heard of Ohio, Nataley Heard of Nederland, and Alyssa Heard of Kountze; step grandchild, Mya ˋ Vigeon of Kountze; sisters, Delane Stevison of Port Arthur, Denese Seger of Groves, Danette Martinez of Port Arthur, and Diane Hall of Port Arthur; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sheila is preceded in death by her first husband, Randy Heard; husband, Rudy Aldaiz; and her parents.
A gathering of Mrs. Aldaiz’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 a.m., Friday, November 23, 2012, at Memorial Baptist Church, 4011 Memorial Boulevard Port Arthur, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 North 12th Street, Nederland.
A private family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium, Beaumont.
