Alice Nell Clark, 73, of Jasper, died Thursday, August 9, 2012, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was born March 28, 1939, in Livingston, to Ida Mae Stone Martin and Joseph Dee Martin, Sr. Alice worked as an office manager with Concepts of Care Home Health.
Survivors include her husband, James Clark, Sr.; sons, James Clark, Jr. of Jasper; Randall Clark and his wife, Shona, of Buna; and Albert Clark and his wife, Katrina, of Jasper; daughters, Mary Jane McCoy and her husband, Roddy, of Allardt, Tennessee, and Leslie Mendoza and her husband, Kenny, of Orange; brother, J.D. Martin, Jr. and his wife, Marjorie, of Jasper; sister, Effie Phelps of Jasper; sister-in-law, Linnie Martin of Jasper; thirteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Clarence Macon Martin and Paul Edward Martin.
A gathering of Mrs. Clark’s family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m., with her funeral service at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 13, 2012, at Church of Christ, 1839 Highway 96 South, Jasper, under the direction of Broussard's, 530 West Monroe, Kountze.. Interment will follow at Zion Hill Cemetery, Jasper.
